OCTELA Treasurer Karen Carney appears to have made an error while filing the latest IRS 990-EZ filing. If OCTELA had $57,110 in investment income then call me Marvin the mind reader and Karen needs to be working on the trading desk of Goldman Sachs or Citadel. This large amount for this one year on this line of the 990 and 990-EZ in past years has never been this high. This should make their gain for the year go back to a loss. I would think this return will need amended and updated to reflect the correct values!
It is also worthwhile to note, that Karen always gets defensive when asked about treasurer related questions. Not very professional.
